Terms & Conditions

Effective date: 22 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of Enova Mart by customers, sellers and visitors. By creating an account, placing an order, opening a store or otherwise using the marketplace, you agree to these terms and to the policies linked from the website.

1. Marketplace role

Enova Mart provides an online marketplace that helps independent sellers display products and customers discover and purchase them. Unless a product page expressly states that Enova Mart is the seller, the seller shown on the listing is responsible for the product, description, price, stock, fulfilment, warranty and after-sales obligations. Enova Mart may support communication, payment processing and dispute resolution but does not become the seller merely by operating the platform.

2. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate, current information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Users must have legal capacity to enter a contract; a parent or guardian must supervise use by a minor. Notify Enova Mart promptly if you suspect unauthorized account access.

3. Listings, prices and orders

Product information is supplied by sellers. Prices are displayed in Ethiopian birr (ETB) unless stated otherwise. An order is a request to purchase and may be rejected or cancelled if stock, pricing, identity, payment or delivery information cannot be confirmed. Before confirmation, customers must review the product, quantity, delivery details and total cost. Obvious pricing or content errors may be corrected, with the customer informed and refunded where payment was already collected.

4. Payment, delivery and risk

Available payment and delivery methods appear during checkout. Customers must use lawful payment instruments they are authorized to use. Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be affected by seller handling, courier capacity, address accuracy, weather or events outside reasonable control. Risk and responsibility for the goods transfer as provided by applicable Ethiopian law and the confirmed delivery arrangement.

5. Returns, refunds and warranties

Returns and refunds are handled under the Enova Mart Return Policy, any lawful seller warranty and mandatory consumer rights. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

6. Seller responsibilities

Sellers must maintain a valid business and any required licences, provide truthful listings, show the full price and material product conditions, respect intellectual-property and consumer rights, fulfil accepted orders, issue required documents and respond to support or return requests. Sellers may not list counterfeit, stolen, unsafe, prohibited or unlawfully imported goods.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the platform, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, scrape or copy content in violation of law, submit false reviews, commit fraud, harass other users or use Enova Mart for unlawful activity. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend an account or cooperate with lawful authorities when reasonably necessary.

8. Intellectual property

Enova Mart software, branding and original platform content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Sellers retain responsibility for rights in their listing materials and grant Enova Mart a non-exclusive licence to host, resize and display those materials for marketplace operation and promotion.

9. Service availability and liability

We work to keep the marketplace accurate, secure and available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, Enova Mart is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for seller conduct outside Enova Mart's reasonable control. Any limitation applies only to the extent allowed by applicable law.

10. Changes, suspension and termination

We may update these terms to reflect legal, security or service changes. The effective date will be updated and material changes may be communicated through the service. You may stop using Enova Mart at any time. Obligations connected to completed transactions, payment, disputes and lawful records continue where necessary.

11. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. The parties should first try to resolve a concern through Enova Mart Support; this does not prevent either party from using a competent authority or court. For questions, call 0910530879.
